Beautiful scenery, Spice. I was a bit dumbfounded that there were still trolley's on tracks. I remember them from over fifty years ago in Atlanta when I lived there, and didn't know they were still around.

Thank you vvenababy2. I'm glad you all enjoyed that. JJ, they are slowly phasing out the trolley's. Thanks Kimba. It's a lovely city. They put on all sorts of stuff like the Heritage Festival. The Fringe is held every year as well.
We often had to travel to Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is pretty much flat so imagine my surprise to find this little jewel. It's a lovely area.

I had a chuckle when he said the travel was heavy! My goodness, two whole cars. I was surprised by how few trees there were on the land. I know he mentioned that there weren't many on the hills also, but when he mentioned heat, I was seeing snow by the roadside. We have lots of trees in my state, and it can get up to 100F in the summer, so I didn't understand what he meant.

I'm not sure why Saskatchewan is so devoid of trees. It's more forested in the northern part of the province but I've never been there. I think he may have been talking heat in the summer. It does get pretty toast there at times, but also very cold in the winter.
Another great park to visit is Waterton National Park. To the south is Glacier National Park in Montana. We were there in the fall, and the place was pretty much deserted then already. It's beautiful.

That was really good. I never really thought about shared borders much before now. Interesting how they solved it by taking down a row of trees. I wonder if that oil is going to become important in years to come.

Argh I lost my post when the cloudflare thing came up. Well at least they didn't put an electrified fence up We didn't travel up north in Alberta a lot, but on one trip we had a chance to cross the Peace River. This is the Dunvegan Bridge across the river Also there is Dunvegan Provincial Park. You can read it about and see pictures HEREWhat a neat place.
