Oh thank you and i am sorry I didn't notice this. Some of you may or may not know that I am a transplanted Canadian. So I want to take you on a tour of my beautiful country throughout most of the month. I will also be taking you on a tour of my home state. This is where I lived when I first got married. Video isn't mine though. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. JJ, it was quite the hill to get to the top and you wondered at times if there really was a town there. Now just about every summer we would spend weekends camping here. It was just a short 20 minute drive out of town, but felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Scroll down to see some images. Talk about camping in the rough. LINKThey also built some rough cabins with wood stoves in them for warmth, and I remember one February going out there to camp. I slep in my clothes, wearing my winter coat inside the sleeping bag and I still wasn't warm. We had some good times there though.

It's a beautiful area, Spice, but it looks really rustic. I saw the hand pump for water. Does the water ever get warm enough for swimming?

Thanks everyone. JJ, the water is cold. I don't think I would want to swim in it. We didn't drink the water from the pumps either. Brought our own. Just used that for doing dishes. Just in case.
Now let's move on a bit. Just a few hours down the road was Jasper National Park. It's a 10 minute video, but I guarantee it is worth it.
I hope you enjoy it. I sure do miss it. Used to go there every summer and it never got boring.

Those divers were very brave, Spice! I really enjoyed the wildlife. But I have to be honest, the area looks way to cold for me. I have a number of online friends from Canada and their idea of a warm day is very cool to me and I would need the heat on. I know when I used to go to Florida regularly in late fall, there would be people from Canada on the beach in bathing suits and the natives would be in sweats and sweaters. Ok, I typed b a t hing suits and a got into my post.

I have never really experienced that kind of cold. It doesn't get that cold here in Oklahoma. We rarely get snow. I would rather have it cold than 100 degree weather though.
